Netball 2005-2006
Being an overweight kid in primary school, I was determined to become healthy. I did so by training hard and even managed to fulfill my dream of being a Netballer. In my lower secondary school years,( 2005-2006), i represented my school as a defender.
Media & Publications 2007-2008
After sustaining an eye injury in Secondary two, I was unable to continue playing netball. I was still kept in team as a netball manager, a position that was created as my teacher in charge, Mdm Noraini felt that I had the capability to contribute to the team with my leadership.
In 2007, I also decided to take up Media & Publications as a CCA as i love writing. I was able to write segments in my school's newsletter. An enriching and fun experience
Debates 2008
I received the opportunity to showcase my talent in debates through my teacher,Ms.Naz who coached me and me fellow team mates for the Mediacorp Arena Competition. As a pioneering batch with no prior training, we were proud of being able to emerge as the top 12 finalists on the show.
In the 4 years of my secondary school, I completed 40.5 hours of community service as well.

Mentoring 2009-
Upon entering Ngee Ann Polytechnic, i decided to join BP Mentoring Scheme. In this cca, I am able to tutor and help children that come from dysfunctional and low income families. This CCA equips me with patience as well as a rewarding experience as I see myself contribute to the better grades and education of these deserving children.
